Crocodile and Sansiri Join Forces to Transform the Real Estate Industry with Health & Well-Being Living Concept, Establishing Eco-Friendly Construction as a New Standard for a Sustainable Future
The Thai real estate industry is entering a new era focused on sustainable development in every dimension. When “Sansiri”, the first Thai real estate project developer aiming for Net-Zero, collaborates with “Crocodile”, a true innovator in comprehensive construction solutions that cares for people and the environment, they set a new standard through the “Green Partner” campaign. This major event showcases environmentally friendly construction materials that are non-toxic, reduce volatile emissions, and lower carbon footprints, promoting a tangible Green Construction Model aligned with the Health & Well-Being Living concept that prioritizes the health of residents. This collaboration reinforces that eco-friendly construction must be the “industry standard,” not just a “trend,” to propel the construction industry towards a sustainable future.

Mr. Wikit Kanchai, Assistant Managing Director of Domestic Sales at Crocodile Corporation, stated, “At Crocodile, our DNA has always been about doing business to develop comprehensive construction innovations that are safe for people and friendly to the environment. One of Crocodile's key innovations is the Green Products line, which minimizes environmental impact and meets international sustainability standards, covering tile installation products, construction chemicals, and building paints. These products cater to environmentally conscious projects and align with green building standards. A highlight showcased in collaboration with Sansiri is the ‘Crocodile Premium Plus Silver Grout’, the first and only product using Microban technology to inhibit mold growth throughout its lifespan, ensuring health safety and featuring Hydrophobic properties that reduce water penetration, keeping floors and walls clean and minimizing health issues related to mold exposure that can increase respiratory health risks. In terms of design, Crocodile Grout offers 35 color shades to suit every design style, from minimalistic to luxurious, artistic, or natural. Another product is Crocodile Epoxy Plus, an exceptional adhesive and grout for tiles with low volatile emissions, no pungent odor, high quality, and resistance to mold, slime, and bacteria, available in 14 shades. This partnership with Sansiri marks a significant step in transforming the real estate and construction materials industry. We believe Green Partner will be a new choice for consumers and help establish a new standard for quality, beautiful, environmentally friendly, and truly health-safe living spaces.”
Mr. Prasert Trakanwatchirath, Deputy Managing Director of Sansiri Public Company Limited, stated, “Sansiri believes that sustainability must start from infrastructure, and real estate development is one of the key foundations for driving the country towards a sustainable future. We have initiated sustainability strategies for over 10 years, integrating them into every process, such as production processes and internal knowledge, to deliver sustainable products and services to our residents. Additionally, we collaborate with the Green Supply Chain to support Sansiri in achieving its goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Crocodile Corporation is one of our key green partners, leading to a new standard in the Thai real estate industry, namely the “Sansiri Sustainable Home – Prototype 1”, a prototype home that integrates sustainability, proudly launched as the first unit in the Setthasiri Ratchaphruek Project, in collaboration with 18 Green Partners, featuring innovations in four main areas.
Designed with consideration for residents and the environment, it includes Health and Well-being Design, Resource Efficiency with solar energy systems to reduce electricity consumption, Cooliving Design based on natural principles considering climate direction, sunlight, wind, and rain, using special materials that help lower temperatures and reflect heat radiation, and Green Materials that are environmentally friendly, incorporating the concept of Upcycling by designing new products from construction waste, such as marble scraps, to reduce construction waste. The overall design of the Sansiri Sustainable Home – Prototype 1 can reduce electricity consumption by up to 83% and lower greenhouse gas emissions by up to 35%, equivalent to 135,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide or the equivalent of planting over 14,300 trees per home. This represents a significant step and sets a new standard for the Thai real estate industry.”
The collaboration between Crocodile and Sansiri is set to expand into three main product innovation groups, including tile installation and grout innovations, construction chemicals, and Crocodile paints, covering comprehensive construction, repair, and decoration solutions from foundation to roof. Both companies are committed to developing environmentally friendly solutions to pave the way for creating a green construction industry that is safe for people while sustainably caring for the environment.
